How did it all start?

Zach's Construction Toys is truly a company run by kids for kids.  Zach himself is 10 years old and has hand-picked every item available through this "store".  He has grown up loving construction and truck toys and this company was born from his dream of providing these toys to other kids with similar interests!

When Zach was 7 years old, his dad took him to a train show in Cleveland, Ohio.  The train show was a bust but there was one vendor there showing off Joal toys.  Zach was fascinated and the dad vowed to find some similar models for Zach to play with, but not as expensive.

Over time, Zach's dad did find some toys and actually started his own company (DHS Diecast Collectables) offering high end collectable models to adults.  Zach never did get his toys to play with!

One day, the marketing group at DHS was discussing bringing in some new products for the line and it came about that the toys were a great fit for Zach's type of toy - fun to play with and durable.  Zach's dad brought in Zach to look at the products and he loved them.  This was the big opportunity he had been waiting for - to start his own company and sell these toys to other kids like him!  (Of course, he meant to handle all "product testing" himself).
